Due to poor foundational competence and numeracy in early years, these children lack the basics every year to thrive.
While significant investments have been made in school infrastructure, the next phase of educational transformation requires strengthening teaching quality, foundational learning, leadership, digital education, student wellbeing, and community participation.

Foundational Learning Gap - One of the biggest challenges is that many children do not achieve age-appropriate reading and numeracy skills during their early years of schooling. Only 50% of Grade 3 children today can do a simple two-digit subtraction. Approximately 1 in 4 children in Grade 3 today are still developing basic reading proficiency.

Our goal is to ensure that every government school becomes a place where children learn with confidence, teachers teach with excellence, and communities actively participate in building a brighter future.

Teachers are the single biggest factor influencing how children learn in school, and shaping their lives. But this only holds true when teachers are skilled, confident, supported, and trusted. India’s public education system has close to 10 million teachers, most of them deeply committed, but working in environments where they receive little / no training and coaching. In order to create a success for every child, we need to ensure every classroom is led by a teacher who is skilled, loving, and intuitive.
Change begins with a teacher who listens, a conversation that builds trust, a workshop that sparks confidence.
At Think we develop Teacher Development ecosystem through providing immersive in-school support and building model Government schools, to learning directly from classrooms and testing solutions that improve student learning. We co-design programmes with state partners and empower teachers at scale, ensuring every child is taught by someone skilled, confident, and deeply connected to their learning needs.
We ensure that every child learns with the support of a skilled, loving, and intuitive teacher through Teacher Development Programs and Educator Development Programs. In partnership with state governments, we strengthen teacher educators, provide classroom coaching, and co-create practical tools and trainings rooted in local realities. Our work goes beyond training Teachers, we are transforming systems to ensure teachers are supported, celebrated, and cared for, so they can adopt practices that truly improve learning for every child.
We collaboratively design and conduct workshops, teaching techniques & tools throughout the year with teachers. The topics are need-based and focus on strengthening targeted aspects of how teachers support their students inside and outside classroom. They range from sharing innovative methods to improve foundational learning and student engagement to how to build stronger partnerships with parents and the communities to ensure students are able to thrive inside and outside school.
